We found L’Inizio by accident. The first time we were there we were BLOWN AWAY by the chef’s sweet potato gnocchi with maple butter sauce. I don’t know what he does, how he makes it, or what magic he spurns but it is truly heaven. There are no other words. We’ve been back numerous times- like groupies- waiting for these gnocchi to come back on the menu, and while the entire menu never disappoints… they just came back on last week!!! (Yes, we were there). In short, the husband and wife team here deserve their Michelin award- hands down. The food is consistently delicious and unlike other restaurants in the area. The desserts are just as incredible and should be recognized as the chef’s wife, who is the pastry chef. Just an impressive team!
