Taste - AREZZO

A little gem of a bar at the top end of the Corsa Italia. Visited several times for aperitivi but also recommended for light lunches, particularly tasty salads. Most business conducted on tables outside but inside the bar is a fantastic array of local produce for sale including a superb local Vermentino not available anywhere else.

A spur of the moment choice in a town that is full of good restaurants, it was a great discovery and somewhere we will return. A light lunch of risotto with zucca, gorgonzola and walnuts for me, Tortelloni stuffed with potato and served with a rich mixed meat ragu for my friend. A glass of white, a glass of red, water, coffees and plenty of change from €50. Lovely ambience, fast, friendly service – the waitress pointed out how cosy and romantic it is in the evening, and we can well believe that! Also, nice tables outside for when the weather’s warmer.

Fab, wide variety of sumptuous tastes in beautiful historical setting, veg and meat dishes all sensational, beef and caramelised onion a wow, contrast with the saffron and zucchini risotto, so subtle, pecorino and honey to die for, topped off with banging tiramisu and machismo, house wine the perfect accompaniment, Erica the perfect waitress, Sara the very talented young chef, amore!

Pausa pranzo qui nel bel mezzo di un tour per arezzo. non accettiamo le prenotazioni: subito proponiamo di sederci fuori, alla fine possono darci un tavolo all'interno; Se non fosse per il freddo, meritano davvero tanto entrambi (uno per la particolarità dei mobili, l'altro per la vista.) menu scritto a mano, scelta sufficiente ma tutti i piatti molto invitanti. la ragazza professionale e bella, ci ha anche consigliato due bicchieri di chianti e montepulciano eccellente! Due note non locali per un pranzo facile ma tranquillamente uguali a una cena (25-30 a testa con taglierina a metro, una prima, una tazza e un caffè . forse un po' eccessivo in alcuni elementi del disegno di legge davvero buono, ma un po 'difficile da digerire sul retro.

Un pranzo veloce ma avrebbe meritato una fermata più rilassata. posizione fantastica con tavoli all'aperto sulla passeggiata arezzo. servizio veloce e amichevole, taglierina sia di carni e di bruschette eccellente per dire poco. birra artigianale dal posto molto buono. buon prezzo, molto consigliato!
