Bonsai Grill - Arlington

An unfussy neighborhood sushi and ramen restaurant, with great food at great prices. The place is rather small and slightly cramped, with indoor and outdoor seating as well as a sushi bar. Service is great, and even when busy they look after you. While the sushi is good, the ramen is exceptional. The spicy pork belly ramen is an absolute treat, and is an entire meal by itself.

Uneasy about when we eat out because I?m a chef myself, we were in town and decided we wanted Japanese food for dinner. We walked into this quaint little restaurant and we were immediately greeted and a very polite young waiter attended us. I had the Japanese noodles with shrimp and my husband had the Japanese noodles with chicken. Both were superb! Fresh finely cut vegetables and the noodles cooked perfectly! The food is fantastic! Honestly one of the best Japanese food I?ve ever had. I visited the area for 4 days and came here 3 times. The Dragon roll is out of this world, and the box combination is such a good deal for trying out bunch of stuff. My family loves it. Lovely outdoor seating as well, and the service is great!

The food used to be really good but the sushi rolls have really slipped. Ordered several kinds and just so so. This is the 2nd time we went there and it was just average.

Stopped by during a weeknight and was seated right away. Ordered dragon roll, and spicy yellowtail roll along with the bonsai sushi and sashimi boat for two which includes 20 pc sashimi, 10 pc sushi, california and tuna roll. It also comes with salad and miso soup. Sushi was great and the sashimi was awesome, very fresh. After we ordered, it did take over 40 minutes for the food to arrive despite being pretty empty. Food was amazing, service was lacking a little. Difficult to find parking.
