Cartel Taco - Arlington

AMAZING! The food is fantastic. The restaurant has a chill atmosphere for a social night or even a date night. You order your food, take a table number, and they bring the food to you. We received our food in under 7 minutes. The bar is separate from the food ordering area. We went on a Thursday night and they had some great priced drinks specials. The outside seating area is enjoyable. The pricing is spot on for the quality of the food. This is one of my new favorite spots in downtown Arlington and I will surely be back.

Great taco place! I had sautéed shrimp taco, smoked salmon taco, chips with queso, and quesadillas for appetizer, and it was all really good. Especially surprised that I hate beans but the shrimp taco was made with beans and rice together inside which I kind of freaked out (lol) but I actually really enjoyed it! Queso was a bit blend to me but my other friends loved it, and chip was crunchy. Unique flavor with great balanced taste for each tacos and even quesadillas. Would come back for sure!

I've visited this restaurant many times, but this is my first time writing a review. I absolutely love the 7-layer dip that comes served in an iron skillet—it's delicious and piping hot! And the #9 taco is always a winner! It never disappoints!

I had a pretty good experience! It was my first time there, and the tacos were generously filled. I tried the veggie taco, chicken fajita taco, and the Mexican corn, all of which were very tasty. The salsa was a bit lacking in flavor, but the chicharrones were delicious. However, the rice was undercooked. The service was good, though. Overall, I would rate it a 4.5 and definitely plan to visit again!

I visited Cartel to give it a try, and I found the prices to be reasonable along with a nice selection of options. I sampled the salmon, beef fajita, and chicken fajita tacos, all of which were full of flavor. The corn tortillas were just okay, so if you prefer flour tortillas, I recommend choosing those instead.
