La Madeleine French Bakery Cafe

I was pleasantly surprised by the overall experience at this restaurant! I was initially expecting just a basic bakery and café, but the atmosphere inside was really impressive. The food was delicious, although the horseradish mayonnaise on the sandwich was a bit overpowering and masked the more delicate flavors of the broth and cheese. The service was quick and efficient, with no waiting time to order or be served. All in all, it was a fantastic experience!

The food is decent at this restaurant, with no major complaints when dining in. However, I've had issues with pickup orders not being ready on time. I suggest dining in instead. I wish they had more gluten-free options, like gluten-free bread for sandwiches, which would greatly expand the menu for me. Additionally, it's worth noting that they don't start making soup until 11am.

I am absolutely enamored with the French Toast! The Tomato Basil Soup is a must-try. And don't forget to order the Lemon Tart - it's a definite winner. If you haven't dined at this restaurant yet, you are truly missing out.

Fresh food at a late hour. Excellent prices. Quiet atmosphere. Perfect end to a special evening. 2 thumbs up!
