The Catch- Arlington

In my previous review, I mentioned that it was pretty decent overall. I found the po' boy bread to be too much for the small portion, as I only used part of it. I learned that the difference between catch fish and catfish is mostly the size, and my catch fish was indeed quite small. I requested extra sauce but didn't receive any, which was fine as I added tartar and cocktail sauce myself. The fried green tomatoes were tasty, and the red beans and rice were good too. I also tried clam chowder for the first time, and while it was okay, it’s just not my thing. The fries were all right, though they were small and thin, and didn’t come out hot. I suspect they had been sitting under a heat lamp for a while. On the bright side, the sweet tea was excellent!

Go up to the counter to order and they will bring your plate to you. Yummy seafood classics and southern sides. They have good catfish and fried pickles.

The Catch truly has no downsides! I’m sure I’m not the first to say that. The atmosphere is fantastic, and the staff is incredibly friendly! Our experience here was perfect, especially since it was our first visit. We ordered the crawfish, seasoned “hot, hot” with garlic butter, as recommended by our bartender, Dani (forgive me if I spelled her name wrong—she was so lovely!). She led us in the right direction; the crawfish was flavorful and tender, making it an essential choice for anyone new to crawfish. I also tried their Mango Nola drink, which is dangerously delicious!

The food was great! I tried their fried catfish and fried shrimp basket. My favorite side was the hush puppies definitely coming back just for those. I am, however, knocking the review to a 4 star as we had a not so pleasant encounter with one ofthe servers when we visited. I thought I was the only one who noticed, but my SIL confirmed that she too noticed that the girlwas giving us a bit of attitude when she brought the food out.

My dad took me here for lunch, and it did not disappoint! The fried catfish was hot and fresh, and the beignets were just as delightful. The staff was friendly, and the restaurant was clean. I will definitely return!
