Bakery Crescent - Arlington Heights

Lovely people, delicious curry bread and anpan. Bakery Crescent is an excellent choice if you want accurately-prepared Japanese baked goods in Chicagoland. Recommended.

I went all the way to this place from Downtown Chicago just to find no sandwiches left at 11:15 am place opens at 10:00 am). Very bad customer service, they barely speak any English. Owner came out and said that you must order food ahead of time. There is no website. Pretty lousy way of doing business but it seems they really don?t care about non Japanese Customers. What a waist of time!!

So yummy!! my favorites were the melon pan and the curry pan. good prices, i got like 6 different breads and a drink for around 20$ definitely recommend

Absolute jewel in the northwest suburbs - I even hate to pamper it! The best Japanese bakery around and by far the personable staff and decent prices. I come here almost weekly for my thick Shoku pan and the Uguisu pan (it is the best, thank you later! . The curry bread and the melon pan are on the point, and who could pass a homemade Bento? Order and plan ahead because they can be busy!

I love this place. Delicious egg salad sandwiches and bento boxes of the day. It's best to call and order in advance.
