Plinio 1988 - Arosio

Ci andiamo spesso e si merita sempre... ambiente, servizio, menu eccellente... consiglio.

I was very good. We had a very beautiful pasta and a very good Crispy Pizza bufalina. Also the grilled vegetables were very fresh. People are very pleasant and helpful. As desert we had a Pannacotta caramel a a lovely soft lemon sorbet. We will come back

Plinio is a very nice restaurant with the shape of a ship. I went there for dinner with my family and I ate a very good pizza. The waiters were kind and friendly and also quite fast. The furnishings were modern and elegant. The price was rational and moreover there was a big car park.

We went to the restaurant on a whim, no reservation. Not a problem, we were seated right away. As always, I was attracted by the spaghetti with clams (my fav! and I wasn't disappointed. We were a bit surprised when the waiter put a bib on my companion but waited to see what would happen...nothing. Waiter had made a mistake. He confused us with another table which had ordered the mussels. Not a problem...they looked good too. After the clams, pizza. All good. Dessert time... my all-time favorite dessert was on the list...black forest cake...yum! I was a bit nonplussed when it arrived in a glass. More like a black forest trifle....good anyway.... better than some I've tried in Italy. Wide choice on the menu. We will be back....
