Ship Anchor Pub - ARUNDEL

The Ship and the Anchor offers absolutely fantastic homemade dishes. The homemade chocolate and heavenly cake was undoubtedly the best I've ever tasted. We just dined there, and I can't recommend it highly enough. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and our dog was treated to a tasty treat and some water, making us all feel right at home. Thank you, Jan!

We are here on Thursday 17th March. the food was wonderful, everything cooked and so delicious. the best is that we were in a very nice time. beautiful renter and renter. will have many more meals there in the future. they would recommend this venue

I’m really glad we discovered this charming little pub after our visit to Arundel Castle. We were warmly welcomed by two lovely Scottish ladies who made us feel right at home. The food was excellent, particularly the homemade slaw. The steak pie was melt-in-your-mouth delicious, and the pâté was exquisite. The lovely lady behind the bar even baked a wonderful cake that was served with a delightful homemade trifle. I was truly impressed, although I just wish we could have sampled the entire dessert menu!

I've been camping and caravanning for over 20 years, and this place is, without a doubt, one of the best I've experienced. It's simple yet very clean and tidy. Helen met us at the tour site and gave us a thorough tour of the facilities and surrounding walks. The pitches offer level, hard-standing ground, with grassy parking and 16-amp hookups available. The pub serves great food, and the staff are incredibly helpful and friendly. I will definitely be returning with my dog!
