Giardino Hotels - Ascona

Wonderful! We love the area. I refer to Ascona as a “ more relaxed Lake Como”. We have been in this area several times and stayed at Giardino most often because of its friendly, relaxed staff. Much less formal than the other five star hotels, in a good way. I can’t say enough about the quality of service and attention to detail. We had not been here since 2019 and have seen an overall erosion of quality as Covid has become an excuse for many operators. Thankfully , not for our Giardino. Than you.

The hotel is beautiful and the staff so wonderfully friendly and helpful. The on-premise two star Michelin restaurant, Ecco, is an amazing treat of wonderful flavors and stunning presentation. I would just like to add our daughter had a medical emergency while staying here and they pulled out all the stops, even to the extent of locating and picking up the medication she needed after all the pharmacies had closed for the night. My wife, daughter and I would like to sincerely thank the staff of for taking care of us when we were so far from home. We highly recommend Giardino Ascona and you will not be disappointed!
