Magnolia 23 - Asheboro

The staff of Magnolia 23 were super nice. Always check if we had everything we needed. We ordered our food and 3 minutes later it was before us! Very fast service . The food was good, the only reason I gave four stars instead of five is because the food was not unforgettable for me. I had better soul food, but I would come back.

Made for a true pleasure of South food and prepared local with family recipes distributed by generations, go with Don in Magnolia 23. The food is simply “mouth water” good and as authentic as it comes to my mother and grandmother cooking. The ambience is picturesque and secret with plenty of outdoor sitting weather. If you go through Asheboro, NC does not miss this wonderful restaurant.

Exceptional nice staff paired with delicious South food. We tried the Meatloaf, BBQ and Chicken Pie as the main and 6 different sides. My favorites were the hearty chicken cakes and the juicy meat jam. As far as the pages are concerned, the Koleslaws and the crowned greens were my favorite.

This is the perfect little home cook style place to eat. Fried chicken is great, haven't had potato salad like that since I was a kid. Service was great, owner walks around talking to everyone. Love the feel and the decor of the place. I would not change anything in this lovely little place. I will recommend this place to everyone. I loved the BBQ sauce, perfect flavor all around for all meats. Fabulous Job.

This place is an amazing local Gem. If you are in Asheboro make sure to add this to you food stop. If your looking for some good authentic southern cooking this is the place. The owner is so welcoming!! He personally came over and greated us, and thanked us for choosing here to dine. We will most certainly be back
