Firestorm Books Coffee - Asheville

I'm disappointed to hear that this restaurant no longer offers vegan options. A few years back, I enjoyed a delicious bagel with cream cheese that was made in-house from plants. It was fantastic!

This is a really cool bookstore with a lively atmosphere. There’s a lot of love for vegan options here, but I do miss the days when they offered vegan sandwiches and bagels with vegan cream cheese. It’s a beautiful space to use your computer and the restroom, but they no longer serve food. You can still grab a drink and a vegan muffin, though.

I visited this restaurant to sign a book and was pleasantly surprised to discover that it is very pro-vegan. They offer delicious vegan cookies and muffins, as well as a great selection of vegan cookbooks.

I just thought I'd give an update. they will expand the bookstore and no longer do the bakery and the caffe. I think they'll still have apples and coffee, but that's it. it is a great vegan/human right bookstore, but the aspekt of food is taken out, fyi

Love this place! Everything looked and sounded delicious. Cute barista guy was helpful and made a heckin good latte. Maple latte was divine but I'll be back for their other concoctions.
