Polanco - Asheville

I originally thought this place was just a restaurant, but it turns out there's also a bar and a discotheque. The DJ wasn't very good at transitioning between songs, but they did take requests and played a lot of great Latino music, which was cool. Unfortunately, they didn't have any wine options available.

I had a great experience at this restaurant with a diverse menu that caters to meat eaters, vegans, vegetarians, and even offers gluten free options. I will definitely be returning to try the menu again if I am ever back in town.

Chef Ricardo Currasco and his team provided the catering for our cocktail hour and reception at our wedding. The guests especially enjoyed the mini crab cakes, charcuterie cups, salmon with hibiscus reduction, and vegan eggplant parmesan. There were many other delicious options as well. The chef even made sure to personally serve us when he noticed we hadn't eaten yet, showing the kind of attentive service that we highly recommend to others.

Great spot for liquor drinks. Light food menu is really good and well priced. I had the short rib tacos, would pay more for more of a meal with more tacos though. Satchel was our waiter and was the best i?ve had anywhere in a long time. Need to come back tocheck out the club upstairs, have heard it is a wild time.

What a wonderful menu and atmosphere. cozy environment, fantastic service and excellent value for the portions. our food came out quickly and everything was just delicious. they also have some nice cocktails and a full bar. the bartender ben and kat were very attentive and happy, adapt to the drinks menu or what we wanted. the menu had a very large selection of vegetarian and gluten-free options for those on a restricted diet. the cook was also happy to make accommodation if necessary. so a great place to find now that they are reopened.
