The Hateful Chicken - Ashland City

Drove 45 mins to check this place out and get some Gator Bites after I heard them mentioned on YouTube. Well, I didn’t get Gator Bites because they are closed. No update on their web-site just closed, no answer on the phone either what makes it worse is I had messaged them earlier on Facebook. Sigh an hour and a half of driving round trip and no food. I would considered messaging them or call before you head that way cause you will waste a trip other wise..

This was the first restaurant my husband and I tried when we moved to Ashland City, and I really enjoyed it. My husband and I both got drinks, an appetizer, entrees, and desserts for less than $50. The boneless chicken wings are delicious! It's kind of a hole in the wall type of restaurant. We will definitely be back!

Drove from a different city and got all the way up here and no sign on the door and they were closed. Was very disappointed. Business needs to up their hours and correct their website/webpage if they are not open.

The hateful chicken..kind of a weird name for a restaurant. Who wants to eat somewhere that is hateful, or better yet, take your family somewhere hateful?? The mascot builds on the name creating an sort of awkward atmosphere for anyone that doesn 't shriek, yeah brother, you are damn right every time someone speaks badly of a democrat. I 'm not political either way. I just think the whole vibe is awkward. Hooray Ashland city for being the most polarized city surrounding Nashville. Yeeeee Haw!!!! P.S. the food was aight at best.

If you want a fun atmosphere and good food to go with a cold beer...this is the place.
