Loft Ashland

Ambiance, sophistication, service. Yes, I will be back to this restaurant. We dined like royalty on the patio for 2 hours on a beautiful summer afternoon. We had mussels, oysters and the best macaroni and cheese ever. The wine list is very good and we were surprised at how much value there was to be had. Treat yourself.

I was there during Happy Hour when they offer a 15 percent discount and found the food to be delicious. The mixed green salad with Bleu cheese and green apples in particular was very good and had just the right amount of dressing. The onion soup was a perfect size to go with the salad and equally as tasty. And the food orange margarita was super. I would recommend trying this restaurant.

The lounge is a great place for a gathering, if there are enough people..we sat 15 in the nook window seats. My meal was the Bouillabaisse it was not as good as before..too much fish, not enough shellfish..but the broth I remembered was so delicious..not this time. Cocktails were great. Everyone else seemed to enjoy their food. We were a big party..so you have expect some delays! I will continue to enjoy this place..mixologist, bring back the dirty Mary with the caper rimmed with that black garlic salt, yeah?

I had an amazing meal here! The service was excellent, but what truly stood out was the duck I ordered—it was exactly what I always hope for. The wine list was impressive, too. The scallops appetizer transported me straight back to Paris; having been there before, I can confidently say that the cream sauce at The Loft was just as delightful.

The menu offers a delightful variety of options for everyone. For our starters, we chose Oysters and Escargot, both of which were outstanding. For our main course, we each had the Mussel Frites, which were also excellent. To finish our meal, we indulged in a Strawberry Huckleberry Crumble with vanilla ice cream and some crème brûlée. It was a truly enjoyable French evening. I highly recommend The Loft to anyone visiting Ashland, Oregon. If you're planning to dine before a theater show, it's wise to make a reservation, as it can get quite busy. After 7:30 PM, it's usually quieter, making it easier to walk in.
