Trackside Grill - Ashland

I wasn't sure what to expect when I visited this restaurant. I ordered a cheeseburger with fries, and it was cooked quickly to perfection. It tasted fantastic! I would definitely come back.

We had a large group of people coming at 8:15 due to a late night-tennis game nearby and the waiters and waiters were super courteous, even if they were nearby to close at 9 a.m. We apologize for a short time, but thank you for serving us! Everyone was really nice and the food was great not to complain. They got the food and drinks quickly, were able to share the bills with a large group and were beautiful all the time. Thank you!

We had a very disappointing brunch here. The chicken and waffles should have a fried chicken breast. Instead, there were three wing sections, almost completely unseasonal. No explanation. The waffles were dense and bread like, really bad. The Hash Browns were large deep fried potato tubers that were still raw in the middle. The friendly server seemed embarrassed by eating, and around us there were a lot of uneaten meals. Really terrible.

We hadn't been here in quite some time and decided to stop in for lunch. Wow... Was it ever a disappointment. What a shame. The food was mediocre, but what was worse was the staff, like another reviewer mentioned, they seemed to have no management around. One staff member was eating an entire meal.. Fries,. Sandwich and all right in plain view of customers. She never once looked up to notice. All while standing right over the beverage prep area and sucking the remains from her fingers. It was just unacceptable in my opinion as someone who has worked in food service, we would've never been seen doing this in plain view! Also, as a business owner, I'd never allow this. Our waitress was polite, she did seem to mix our order up a bit, but it wasn't worth mentioning. The chicken salad was just edible and nothing more. The chunks of celery were massive and the chicken pieces were so large you had to break them up before eating. The Ranch dressing was the worst either of us have ever tasted, so we opted out of eating our salads. My husband enjoyed his turkey wrap. It's unlikely we would return anytime soon, sadly. I rarely post reviews, but felt the owners should be aware of the poor representation some of the staff members are to this establishment, I doubt we were the only guests to notice.

Ordered burger cooked medium and it was past well done and very dry. Had to ask for a side of mayo 2 additional times after asking when I ordered. Wife had chicken tenders that were over cooked, crispy and dry. She had to request honey mustard twice before she got it. Neither one of us were ever asked about a refill on drinks. Seemed they were shortstaffed. The $6 chocolate cake she ordered was also quite disappointing.
