Mr. Hero - Ashtabula

We were the only ones in the restaurant, which turned out to be a great choice. The food was incredibly delicious and served quickly. We sat inside, where it was quiet and everything appeared clean.

The staff is consistently friendly, and the service is quick and cheerful. The food is always fresh and tasty! While it is somewhat pricey, like all Mr. Hero locations, I can’t really complain too much. I'll definitely be coming in for lunch a few more times each month!

Mr. Hero offers decent sub-fair, although I will admit, I often feel like the prices for the subs are expensive compared to what you get. The dishes and options are good, only expect to pay more compared to places that serve hot subs. Unique subs such as the Roman burgers Sub and Zesty Bacon and Swiss are outstanding, although I personally feel a Roman sub really reaches its taste potential with the addition of Russian dressing or a thousand island. The staff at this point is quite attentive, although current problems with underinfluencing throughout the nation can also be seen here. Workers often seem overwhelmed during the busy hours, and do their best. I recommend using their online app or additional time during the busy periods to avoid frustration. Michael is an employee with whom we often deal. He is very attentive and always pleasant to speak.
