Grey Lady Aspen

I visited this restaurant in the fall, just as they were preparing to close for the off-season. The service was excellent, the food was delightful, and what stood out the most was the atmosphere. It's situated next to a charming cobblestone path lined with trees. The outdoor seating area was completely open, creating a unique and modern Colorado vibe. We chose a spot near the cobblestone path, where a water fountain show provided some of the best entertainment. Watching kids splash around, seeing the occasional distracted texter getting drenched, and dogs frolicking in the water made for some fantastic people-watching.

This is a peaceful spot with a great atmosphere. I've been to Maine and had fresh lobster rolls, and I can say these were fantastic for being served in Colorado! The lobster chowder was a bit more on the soupy side, but it was still quite enjoyable. We sat at the bar, and the service was excellent.

The oysters were incredibly delicious, and the seafood dishes were outstanding. I really enjoyed the ambiance, and the service was both friendly and prompt.

The food was overpriced and of low quality. The tray that held the pie was dirty and appeared to be reused without proper cleaning. They really need to focus more on cleanliness. I won’t be returning.
