1 Degree Up - Astoria

I wouldn't go to this place for dinner at all. first they charge for valet parking $20. it said complementary to open table. So I still paid in front. then I was told I was waiting behind a rope. there was no line and no one there, then the doorman let us in after he had brought us to the mark. then you have to check your coat. That's $4,00 in front. the noise level was not good. very loud people and music. I just decided to go at this point. valet, although she did not park my car would not refund the $20. I've been waiting to try this place since he opened up. if they want to be charged $24 before they even eat her and how loud music then great! I know more friendly places with a better atmosphere to spend my money.

Absolutely an incredible dining experience. The chef is beyond talented. He recommended some of the most delicious dishes. My favorite dish was the fish. It was to die for. The presentation was spot on and the service was excellent. I would definitely suggest everyone try them at least once. Probably one of the best dining experiences I have had in Queens in a very long time. If you enjoy fine dining and lovely architecture, this is the place. Perfect for birthdays or even special occasions. I will definitely be returning.

This is a wired and confusing place. Wouldn’t recommend.

Found this place online, decided to try it out. So glad we did. My husband is celiac so the chef Michael came out to talk to my husband about what we could have and how he could prepare dishes for him. This was very nice and appreciated. Our servers Santos and Maria were very friendly and helpful. Thank you for the fun and yummy dinner. I ordered the red snapper which came as the whole fish...not typically how I like to eat fish but it was delicious...although I did have some trouble deboning. I think I ate a few bones.

I had dinner at this restaurant and I was not disappointed. While the menu is somewhat limited, the food was excellent, the drinks were fantastic, and the service was perfect. We enjoyed the DJ and danced, creating a wonderful atmosphere. The management and staff were present and attentive.
