A restaurant with lots of tradition, since 1970. I ordered the curry soba and I was surprised of how tasty it was, in my experience Japanese soups can go really good or really bad there is no middle point and Sukiyaki did it great. The menu has a lot of options, I definitely recommend it for Japanese food in Asunción.
It is an old place here in Asuncion. The menu is very good. We ordered the miso soup (just right), rice with vegetables and california roll: all good. The service is a little slow but it is worth to try the place.
This is a little hidden gem with great service. It appears to be an old restaurant, could use an update but gives the retroclassic Japanese restaurant décor and feel, which means it must have been there a while. Our server went for it and cooked our yakiniku, which was great. The pork was particularly the best. Sushi boat only had one fish type on it in different styles, so if seeking variety, especially sharing with friends, I'd recommend checking or requesting with the server; the salmon was fresh and the rice was well done. Friend had Agedashi Tofu and said it was good, I regret not having tried it. I believe the owner cashed me out, she seemed sweet and pleasant. A fresh eye and a good polish could turn this from great to amazing.
Good old Japanese restaurant. One of two oldest Japanese restaurant in town.
