Five Guys - Athens

This restaurant offers delicious burgers, and it's great that you can customize them with some unique toppings. However, that's not exactly a novel idea, so it's not all that exciting.

Delicious as always, but paying over $22 for a double bacon cheeseburger, a small fry, and a regular drink feels excessive. The prices have really gone up and it's becoming harder to justify. While the quality is impressive, it would certainly be nice if the pricing was more reasonable. I also find it a bit strange to be asked to tip on top of those already high prices. Given the amount we spend here, one would expect better compensation for the staff. (I still left a tip, though.)

Burger was good, just started to fall apart about halfway through, pretty normal for a burger of this size, but that's the reason for a less star in food.

The staff here are all friendly and polite, and they genuinely seem to enjoy their work, which speaks well of their owners and managers. Plus, the food at 5 Guys is consistently delicious!

The burgers here are good. But when a burger, fries, and a regular drink for two cost over $40 and it's nothing special... it's time for a change. New York prices in Athens Ga is just ridiculous.
