Moone High Cross Inn - Athy

We held a fantastic pre-wedding luncheon at The Moone High Cross Inn last September. The food, provided by the in-house restaurant Bread and Beer, was excellent, as were the drinks! William, the publican, went above and beyond to make sure every guest had a great experience. His thoughtful gestures, such as helping us find musicians for the wedding and regularly checking in with us, really meant a lot. If you’re searching for a beautiful venue for a group celebration, I highly recommend The Moone High Cross Inn!

The restaurant staff was extremely friendly and accommodating, and the food was simply delicious! It was a memorable experience, and I thoroughly enjoyed dining alongside the locals at their favorite place.

Visited this little hidden gem in the countryside on a Sunday evening with my wife and two kids. Proper country pub like old school……I just loved everything this place had to offer. We absolutely adore Moone High Cross and its owner William, as well as all the wonderful people who frequent the restaurant. This was our second visit to Ireland, and once again we found ourselves spending almost every evening at this charming place. We have formed lasting friendships and created unforgettable memories at this iconic establishment.
