You can tell all of the ingredients are fresh and cooked to order. I got my order within a few minutes of sitting down. The workers were friendly and happy to be there. The only negative I could think of is that the Parking was iffy as you parked behind the restaurant in a very hilly lot. Try this place!
Worst quesadilla ever!!! The oil was running to the table...cook was rubbing his eyes. Terrible..couldn't eat it.
I recently visited Bells Street Burritos with high hopes, but unfortunately, my experience left much to be desired. From start to finish, the entire dining experience was lackluster and disappointing.Firstly, the service was extremely slow and inefficient. The staff seemed disinterested and inattentive, taking forever to take our orders and even longer to deliver our food. It was as if they had no sense of urgency or care for their customers. When the food finally arrived, I was underwhelmed by the quality. The burrito I ordered was bland and lacked flavor. The ingredients seemed uninspired and lacked any uniqueness that would make it stand out. The meat was dry and overcooked, and the overall taste was forgettable.Additionally, the portion sizes were extremely small, especially considering the prices charged. I left the establishment feeling hungry and unsatisfied, which is definitely not what I expect from a burrito joint.Furthermore, the atmosphere was dull and uninviting. The seating area was cramped and uncomfortable, lacking any ambiance or personality. It felt more like a cafeteria than a place where one could enjoy a meal.To top it off, the prices were ridiculously high for the subpar quality and experience provided. Bells Street Burritos fails to deliver on the value for money aspect, leaving customers feeling cheated and disappointed.Overall, I would not recommend Bells Street Burritos. The lackluster service, mediocre food, unimpressive portion sizes, and high prices make it a forgettable and regrettable dining experience. Save your time and money and look elsewhere for a satisfying burrito.
I just received this email about Bell street burritos cinco de mayo “policy” . The French are mentioned naturally. Then is goes on to claim their food is Mexican food. I would say it is themed after Mexican food. Kinda bland though.Just for the sake of argument, supposing that it's not so much that you hate the French, as that you love Mexico. Is there a holiday for you? Not really, to be honest. Cinco de Mayo is just inextricably linked to both of those impulses. It's really just a yin yang situation: you can't have one without the other. But, whereas most restaurants that push Cinco De Mayo as a holiday are honestly just over the top in their hatred of the French, we invite you think of Bell Street Burritos as a respite from such negativity. This Cinco De Mayo, we hereby give you The Bell Street promise: we will not knowingly contribute to anti-French sentiment any more than is absolutely necessary to meet the legal requirements of a Cinco De Mayo party. In fact, we are specifically welcoming the Francophone community to celebrate their own historically humiliating defeat at the hands of a wildly out numbered Mexican army with us. We cannot promise that you won't be laughed at, but we will welcome you as much as can be reasonably expected and we won't require you to eat in the bathrooms like some of these restaurants do. And that's a promise.
Wanted to see what all the hype was about and was disappointed in the bland, uninspired attempt at the cuisine. Salsa tasted like a can of pureed tomatoes with a touch of spice. Pinto beans were al dente, not a typical texture one would expect. All the ingredients were fresh, but like I said, uninspired across the board, like the kitchen staff is just going through the motions of prepping ingredients without following recipes or standards.Other than the bland uninspired food, the staff was friendly and helpful. The space has a unique character that fits well in the neighborhood.Maybe an off day it happens. Might try again.
