Hop Shing - Atlantic Beach

Gen Tao's Chicken was hard as rock, chewy and inedible as if they'd are re-heating and serving a batch they originally made 5 years ago. Ended up throwing most of it in the trash.

The best around the beaches if not Jacksonville. There is a reason they do not deliver like every Chinese stop in town... Because they care about the quality of the food when eaten. I have been going here since 2012. Make sure you really think aboutwhy there are bad reviews and consider those making them...Don't get me wrong, no restaurant is perfect...but?

All I can say is never again! The teriyaki chicken was so dry and hard. Rice was ok. If you want chicken jerky this is the place to go!

The did is good but they don't listen I order shrimp fried rice only onion extra dark and spicy... when I get it, it either has peas and carrots, not dark or no spice

Okay where to start . Well It was my 1st time ordering food here. I did not like the window svc because I could not get a feel of how clean the inside is even tho windows were not clean . However my order was prepared quick like 5 mins and Not so costly .I did not enjoy the food after tasting some kind of oily taste maybe old oil or just smells of the kitchen that can get in food. I ordered house special fried rice, spring rolls 1 was missing . Cream cheese wontons didn?t taste fresh and became skepticalafter my 1st bite . I work nearby for 2 years and never saw this restaurant before. 1st last time .
