The restaurant was packed. we requested a table with an ocean view which was great except our table was so dark it made it difficult to see the food when it came out. My boyfriend loved the chefs tasting menu I thought some of the items were a bit salty like the brussel sprouts and chorizo. We were not a fan of the flatbread.The chickpeas didnt have much flavor just tasted like smoked paprika, but overall it was a good meal and the service is 5 star. We were constantly being checked on by multiple people in the restaurant.
Dessert was creme brulee and an almond crusted pear torte, enjoyed with a tawny port cappuccino. The meats were wagyu NY strip and lamb chops... Perfectly prepared and the sauces on the side delicious and a great accompaniment to the dishes... Asparagus and mushroom risotto with manchego cheese...Tapas plates of serrano jamon, served with caper berries and cornichons...clams with chorizo in wine sauce, crabmeat manchego cheese stuffed peppers, and pork belly....all perfect. Service was great... We were greeted with two glasses of Sparkling Brut compliments of the chef (we'd let them know it was my birthday when making reservations). Nice wine selection, sangria cocktail choices varied as well. The only complaint we had was that there are too many interesting things on the menu to try it once lol. #findelicious #food #delicious #eats #goodfood
Food was great. Tapas were fantastic. Paella was wonderful and substantial. That being said do go and indulge. (Being in the service industry, I would be far too harsh regarding my experience with the service) just recognize the 'great resignation ' should never have an effect on 'great service ' of the staff you have retained.
Awesome experience! Spent our anniversary here and it was absolutely perfect! Our waiter Raul brought us over champagne to celebrate as we seated. We were lucky enough to have the oceanside view and it created the perfect romantic atmosphere! Food was phenomenal delicious! We had the Garlic Shrimp, Diver Scallops, Iberico, Red Snapper (comes with Qinoina), Wild Mushroom Rice, Olive Cake and a fried ice cream sundae! Please see attached pictures!
We had a wonderful dinner at Amada tonight, made extraordinary by our waiter Andrew. He asked our likes and dislikes, made menu suggestions which all turned out to be fabulous dishes, and was just so helpful. We decided on a few of the tapas and a main dish which my wife any I shared. The food, the service, and the experience were all top notch, and we can't wait until our next trip back.
