Írjon visszajelzéstI had an unfortunate experience at the restaurant. I ended up in the bathtub, and some staff members were watching me. I really need help. Thank you.
Today, my husband and I wanted to relive that experience. While I understand that COVID has influenced prices, I was still shocked to see that two lobster tails cost $79! So, I opted for the stuffed shrimp at $45, which still felt overpriced. It was just okay. My husband ordered the shrimp Alfredo but was disappointed to find it had a yellow broth, which is typically used for chicken Alfredo, rather than the nice white sauce he expected. Additionally, his portion was smaller than what he remembered. I used to be a big fan of the crab Mary cocktail, but it’s no longer on the menu. The waitress assured me it’s nearly the same but with shrimp. Unfortunately, it turned out to be a bland Bloody Mary with a previously frozen shrimp on a stick and three olives. For $14, I quickly switched to beer instead. We also ordered buffalo shrimp as an appetizer to share, but my husband, who is a commercial fisherman, noted that they didn’t taste fresh. While the buffalo sauce was good, he was right about the shrimp not being fresh, especially on a Saturday night. Perhaps we should have taken the lack of cars in the parking lot as a warning—it was only 7:30 PM on a Saturday night. There were just four other people in the bar area and three tables occupied in the dining room. The meal did come with bread and salad, which I appreciated. In total, we spent $181 for one shared appetizer, two entrees, and three cocktails. I would have rated this experience three stars, but they added an automatic gratuity of 19% to our bill for just the two of us. That’s disappointing, especially since we usually tip better than that. Additionally, they charge a 4% fee for card payments. It’s disheartening to witness another business struggle, and I've decided I will not return.
The service at the restaurant was excellent, and the atmosphere was friendly. We both ordered draft beers; mine was satisfactory, but my husband's tasted flat. Thankfully, the bartender quickly replaced it. For our appetizer, we tried the calamari, which was enjoyable. I had the crab pizza with white sauce along with a house salad, both of which were delicious. My husband chose the crab cheeseburger, served with fries and a pickle. He had to remove quite a bit of lettuce from the burger but still liked his meal. The restaurant was a little warm inside, likely due to the heat outside. They do add a 4% surcharge for credit card payments and automatically include a 19% gratuity on the bill. While the prices are somewhat high, it is a resort town. I would definitely return if I were staying nearby again. There's a parking lot across the street, but we were within walking distance.
This place has really good crab legs, and the bulk of their other food is pretty decent however the service and ownership make this place not worth going to. They penny pinch and overcharge their customers with hidden fees, even to the point of charging extra for an extra salad dressing, not to mention charging 19% on the base for tips even for one person. Always like to tip for more than that, but an unsuspecting, single customer would never imagine to have their tips already automatically added. Wish they treated their customers like they want to be treated
Fantastic every time. The New York Strip was delicious, topped with the Colossal Crab Meat. Oh so good. The owners are nice and Friendly. The service is quick, from being seated to finishing your meal. Amazingly great service!!! We will be back. Just a great atmosphere to be in. Low lighting soft music. All in all wonderful.
