Grotto - Atlantic City

I’m sorry to say that my experience at Grotte was quite disappointing. The caprese salad was lacking, with hard tomatoes and three rubbery chunks of mozzarella that didn’t seem fresh. I ended up having to use the balsamic dressing we received with our bread, which was also bland. The service was poor as well. Overall, the meal felt overpriced for what we received, making it an unnecessary experience.

The food was affordable, and the service was excellent. My wife ordered the steak, which was delicious, while I had the calf salad, and it was one of the best dinners I've ever had. Thank you!

Came to Grotte to Carmines was fully booked. The first thing you should know is that Grotto is on the casino floor. You do a good job in sound control, but it's a strange experience. The service is fine, and the food ranges from good to good. I wouldn't come here and expect a great experience, but it's good in a pinch.

This Italian restaurant inside the Golden Nugget was just able to open recently on a limited menu but the choices are well chosen. We had linguini with clam sauce and the pappardelle bolgnese. We started with the antipasto. Everything was delicious. Abby our server was very friendly and attentive. The host was a very kind gentleman who was very knowledgeable when we asked him questions. Many people were looking for their pizza but because the pizza oven is behind the bar they aren't able to open it as of yet. This was a great choice for dinner.
