Tashas Nelson Mandela Square

Had a Sunday brunch here. The Hummus toastie and the Greenland quesadilla are good. The menu though is generally on the pricey side for what you get.

I’m generally a big fan of Tasha’s but lately I’ve been having a bad experience with their food. It’s quite tasteless but their drinks are amazing and I really prefer going there for drinks. Also I love the pink room

I didn’t get to sit down but a friend and I stopped here to get cake as a takeaway . I ordered the chocolate cake and I was really skeptical because it looked quite dry. But I was pleasantly proved wrong when I got home and dug into what was the yummiest chocolate cake I’ve tasted in a while !!<br/ <br/ It was so rich and moist and I really appreciated the gold pieces on top they were so crunchy . <br/ <br/ The place is in a hidden corner, the decor and atmosphere are great ! Very romantic atmosphere and I loved the lush green trees by the entrance .<br/ I also noticed the piece hanging from the ceiling is similar to the one at Tasha’s Menlyn Centre. I wonder if this is standard for all Tashas’ . <br/ <br/ For your sweet tooth cravings ,this is your go to spot !!<br/

Went to Tashas' with some work colleagues for lunch. We were seated immediately by friendly staff.  It was quiet (during the week so we had our pick of table to sit at. The service was great, and the food was delivered quickly form the time of ordering.  Food was fresh, and big portions. And our waitress was great. Will definitely be back :

The service was perfect on of the best in jo’burgI loved it. The food is amazing definitely will come back here. It has this perfect location just in front if Mandela square. Simply it is the perfect combination for a quiet meal.
