Arkadas Doner-Pizza - Augsburg

We came here to have our kids try their first doener. They had durum and LOVED it. We had to go back the next day to get more and now we're trying to wean them off like addicts. Definitely go here if you're looking for...a doener in Augsburg.

The restaurant has a list of asian food. I tried crispy duck with rice and vegetables. It was nice. The price is fair. They have an asian chef to serve asian food. Unfortunately, I could not remember the name. The menu was in German and...I was just pointing to the provided picture.

This is the usual Doener Kebab place with just about average food and service. They have the usual mix of Turkish fast food, prepared in the ordinary way. You can definietly find much better places to try Turkish food, on the other hand the...dishes here are allright, freshly made and tasty. All in all average in every single way.

Food was not something I would go back for, but what was really disturbing was the fact that I felt like I was being interrogated. The line between being friendly and talkative, and being nosy and persistent, is a line that I believe it shouldn't...be crossed. We were a party of four girls and stepped in to grab a quick and not expensive bite. The man who served us (from Turkey i think) stayed over our heads for about 10-15 minutes asking each one of us all sorts of questions starting from our nationalities and ages to what we do for a living or if we are married. Really disturbing.

Had my first dönerpizza. didn't know there was something like that! that hasn't broken. very different from British döner. meat was tasteless.
