Doughboys Ny Style Pizzeria - Augusta

I ordered a slice of cheese pizza. It was good, but when I added the Parmesan cheese they gave me, it was crunchy and tasted rancid. Despite that, the pizza itself was good. I would definitely go back!

The pizza at this restaurant is fantastic and the staff is very friendly. However, there was only one working bathroom as the other was out of order. Our party of six had a wobbly table, which made it difficult to enjoy our meal. It would be helpful to have some shims to make it level. Despite these inconveniences, I understand that this is a small family business and I will definitely be returning because the food is delicious and the atmosphere is nice.

This is my third visit to this restaurant and I base my rating on the quality of the food, cleanliness, and most importantly, the customer service. I ordered a large pizza loaded with meats, which was very generous in size. I will likely have the leftovers for both lunch and dinner tomorrow. The pizza came out hot and for 225 pounds, two slices and two beers made for a satisfying meal. Next time, I plan to try a pie with fresh jalapeños and garlic. This restaurant is known for having one of the best NY style pizzas in the area. The drive there is quick, if not faster, than driving down Washington Road. The bar, bathroom, and tables were all clean. This evening, I was pleasantly surprised by how family-friendly and welcoming the staff and other customers were. I observed at least twelve customers who came in while I was at the bar, and they were all on a first-name basis with someone. The atmosphere was friendly and relaxed. I also appreciated that they offer a 20% discount for military, law enforcement, fire, and EMS personnel. I will definitely be returning for another visit.

Delicious new York style pizza! ???? Absolutely love it. Delivery/ pick up times are good, even at dinner time ???? They are also great with following special instructions. Will definitely be getting pizza from here again!

Our order got a mix up and they gave our table the wrong order. Then we had to wait a while for our food but it was fixed. I was disappointed in my calzone because it seemed like all mozzarella with just a pinch of my requested fillings, but everyone elseenjoyed their food. The staff were all kind and professional.
