Logan's Roadhouse - Augusta

This has usually been one of our favorite dining spots, but after our visit today, we might wait a while before returning. We started with potato skins as an appetizer, and they appeared as if they had just been reheated in the microwave. Some of them were so hard that we couldn't eat them. For our main course, we ordered a medium-well steak, bourbon-glazed, but it arrived cold, without any bourbon sauce, and cooked to a maximum of medium at best. We sent it back, and when it returned (it was the same steak), most of it was still undercooked, but at least it was warm enough to eat. The waitress did bring us bourbon sauce, but it turned out to be teriyaki sauce instead. When we mentioned this to her, she seemed confused. We also never received refills on our drinks (which tasted watered down) or any additional rolls, and there was no manager around to talk to if we had wanted to. It's disappointing to say that the best part of our meal was the salad, which also was incorrect (we requested no tomatoes) but could be easily fixed on our end. Hopefully, this was just an off day for the restaurant.

What a fantastic way to end a birthday getaway! We rolled back into Augusta just before dark and decided to have dinner after a day at Tybee. The steak was cooked perfectly—tender and served hot—along with delicious rolls. The baked potato was well-salted and topped just right, although the rice pilaf was a bit bland until I added some lemon and salt. It turned out delicious! We both indulged in the fried apples because they truly do them right! My tea wasn’t too sweet, and his beer was served ice cold. We will definitely be back. It's a far cry from what it used to be. I revisited and ordered Logan’s Special: an 11oz steak cooked medium with a loaded potato, rolls, and fried apples—everything was SPOT ON! The Caesar salad was just okay, although the croutons were fantastic. We’ll certainly return to try more side dishes. The beer was large and ice cold, and my partner was very happy!

Fantastic food at reasonable prices. I was told there would be a 40-minute wait on Saturday night, but I was seated in just 20 minutes.

We waited over an hour and a half only to be served kiddie portions and raw chicken. I spoke so highly of this place my favorite location but they really shiited on my sisters food. It’s despicable.

Ok first I went to call in a to go order ...the menu on line states crab cakes so when I call and finally got through without getting hung up on so I asked do you have carb cakes she saids NO in and agitated voice and hangs up never answered again I maybe an hour half later, I drive up there place my order a catfish dish with 2 sides a salad and a sweet potato get home the salad lid was closed the salad spill in the bag the shrimp was wet in cold like the thawed them out from having them in the fridge, so I called back up the told her the lid wasn't closed on the salad and about the shrimp so she says WHAT DO YOU WANT US TO DO ABOUT IT ..my mouth drop I spent 25.00 on one order for 1 person and you ask that she put me on hold went to the voicemail and I'm still waiting on a call or a response ...SAD I let them know the container isn't closing at all she said i wasn't the one who bagged your order
