Flaming Joe's Seafood - Aurora

Above average, but not big, another 5 in my book, explains why at the end of my review: The food I had was decent, sufficiently portioned and with generous garlic taste (I had a combo boil cajon butter) they were from various articles because of the hurricane and waited for an increase. The house spicy was not really spicy, what is good (maybe between taco bell mild and hot) so if you really spicy things like me, ask them if they can really turn the heat? My SO had fried with delicious sauces and we also got some lemon pepper wings that were good. Alcoholic drinks were a bit watery, but we didn't really go to drink. Regarding the service, it seemed that our server was new to her job and repeatedly forgets things, but at least attentive and fast, we never felt that we were waiting for everything, although it was busy. So now I will explain why I still give them 5 stars and not 3 or 4. The biggest reason is the pandemic and inflation have essentially corrupted or set back at least years. The pandemic has made it hard that places like these remain in business, especially places that serve seafood. The market price for most seafood has increased last year 8-10%, which may not seem so much until you apply it to already expensive foods. Because of the pandemic, many people have become used to order food online through delivery services, sometimes not by choosing the restaurant, and in any case at the expense of the restaurant and the staff who are dependent on the Gratity that makes it more difficult, right staff a place. I have observed a lot of my favorite restaurants nearby, or have some hard decisions to make to scratch. It is a pleasant surprise to be able to add another restaurant that I am ready to go regularly. I revisit my assessment when I drastically change my mind.

Stop researching and just go! They won't be disappointed. From Margarita to the roasted Gator to the Pho! It's all delicious, I HIGHLY recommend this place.

The store is clean, a bit different than other seafood place. Oyster were fresh and food came quick. I notice everything serve with the same dipping sauce. A but pricey for comparing to the quality of food I?m getting. The staffs are friendly, they also have option to buy drinks for kitchen staffs! Overall, good place if you?re around the area otherwise there are definitely better options out there.

Brendan and the staff was great... Can we say adult drinks ????....this place need to be on an island with me and an umbrella... Wasting the day away eating everything on the menu... Bothering the servers all day. Great times!!!

Where should I start? Well, first of all, I'm opening this to Flaming Joe my first time? The staff treated us very well during our visit. The other customers also seemed to be happy; definitely a place I can appreciate? But the food. Here?s what we have ordered: Hurricane (price for a small cocktail) Spicy Mango Margarita (sick and refreshment) Garlic Parm Chargrilled Oysters (very expensive for such tiny oysters, but they were delicious; if they again covered completely with garlic butter, you can not really go wrong, I guess) Fried Catfish Po Boy (Salty Batter, but a beautiful size Filet ordered red beans and rice, but they gave us pommes of errors that they corrected) Combo (black snapper and roasted Gator)? a few things that I have to break with it: Do you have to start by saying that all food was incredibly salty! It's obvious management doesn't read these reviews because this seems a recurring problem. ? The red beans and rice have pork which is common in this type of food, but should still be laid open. I ordered a few new ones? Fresh vegetables, which, in any case, were frozen and literally sat in a pan of butter. Terrible? Gator bits were boiled in places? Darkened Snapper had a fishy taste, which means it wasn't fresh. Bad sign! For all these rather unpleasant foods the prices were extremely high. Everything has a premium price in addition. Our meal was over $100 that was incredible for a local seafood spot. Yes, the photos are good, but misleading; the food was pretty bad. Overall, we were very disappointed by our visit to Flaming Joes and do not want to return.
