This was a great experience. The restaurant was very clean. The pulled pork was amazing. They have two bbq sauces available. One is a competition hot bbq sauce. It was so yummy. Not too hot.

I've noticed this place for three years, and despite my previous concerns about another BBQ joint I visited in the city, I finally decided to give it a try today with my wife and daughter. As a BBQ enthusiast, I have to say, if you think you can find a better spot, good luck! I've traveled around the state and dined at some of the most renowned BBQ restaurants in the USA, only to discover that HOG TIDE BBQ stands tall among the best. Their food excels in taste, texture, and presentation. The service and hospitality were also remarkable, and it's conveniently located not far from my home. It's a pleasant drive from the north side of HWY 60 in Aurora, MO.

The rest of the staff continued to impress us with their friendliness and helpfulness. The same waitress who greeted us took our order, after which we found a table. The atmosphere was lively, with a few TVs showing the Cardinals game. We hardly waited 10 minutes for our food to arrive—perhaps it felt quicker because of how engaged we were. Another friendly waitress brought us our meals, and she was very attentive. Now let's talk about the food—it was fantastic! I ordered a two-meat plate with smoked chicken and Texas sausage. Both were delicious, but the star of the meal was the baked potato salad and the cornbread. My wife also enjoyed her meal; she had a similar plate with potato salad and roasted okra. Everything was mouthwatering. Thank you, Hog Tide BBQ, for a wonderful dining experience!
