Taqueria Corona - Aurora

The street tacos here are outstanding and truly authentic. I always go for the asada and carnitas tacos, and they never let me down. The salsas are fantastic, and recently I’ve tried the quesadillas – they’re wonderfully cheesy and absolutely delicious. You really couldn’t ask for anything more!

As for the burrito... oh dear. It looked like it was rolled by someone who got fired from Chipotle. There was absolutely no flavor. I could tell there were vegetables in there, but their taste was nonexistent. The meat was just as bland as the tacos. I’m not sure if they forgot to season it or if this is simply their standard. This has to be some of the most tasteless Mexican food I've ever encountered, and given that we're in Denver, that's saying a lot since most of the non-mainstream food here is, well, questionable. If I could give it zero stars, I would. Additionally, an employee came out from the food prep area without a mask. I don't understand how people don’t realize that completely defeats the purpose of wearing one. You’re working with food during a pandemic; precautions should be taken while preparing food, even if customers aren't in sight.

The staff is consistently respectful, and the service is always excellent.

Hands down best carne asada tacos in Aurora. Full of flavor and the ingredients fromThe meat to the veggies all taste FRESH. MyBurrito was huge and packed with amazing green Chile sauce. Great experience and our server was friendly and attentive to EVERYONE in the restaurant

I was really interested in checking this place out along with my 3 family members. We tried lastnight but they where closed, so we still decided to go today and the lady that waited on us had a bad attitude as if she didn't want us there. When we walked into the place prepared to spend our money we were not greeted. She slammed our menus down at the register stand and we took them to our seats. We attempted to look at the menus that she slammed down as she gave them to us. When she came to our table still no greet or introduction. We asked for chips and salsa and she threw her hands up and turn around and I guess went to get it. Because of the her attitude we decided to leave and take our money elsewhere.
