Baskin-robbins - Austin

I give this restaurant four stars, mainly for the ice cream. The service, however, deserves only three stars. The ice cream selection is fantastic, with plenty of choices for sundaes, shakes, and other delightful treats. Plus, they top your dessert with almonds instead of peanuts, which is a nice touch! Unfortunately, the service can be inconsistent. At times, the staff is very friendly, but other times, they come across as disinterested or even annoyed.

The only downside, which seems to be more of a corporate issue, is the limited variety of take-home flavors. I also had a custom order cake for my birthday that unfortunately wasn’t very good, and I felt it was overpriced for its size. I wouldn’t recommend getting an ice cream cake from them, but everything else is great. Recently, they introduced giant Oreo cookies that allow you to create your own cookie sandwich with any flavor of ice cream you want. I definitely think that's worth trying, although it might be a limited-time offering.

The ice cream here is fantastic, and the service is excellent. The staff always offers flavor samples when you ask, and the wait isn't too long. I also appreciate that they're open quite late, making it easy to grab a treat after a long evening.

Good simple ice cream with various flavors. Manager had no problems with giving me free one because I signed up Baskin Robbins app and got free scoop coupon. Try it out.

We love ice cream and BR has so many delicious flavors to choose from! They even offer one that has no added sugar (it's my husbands favorite) with chocolate covered caramel bites. YUM! Plenty of parking, tables inside and out. They have a restroom for customers. They also sell incredible ice cream cakes! We have been buying them from here ever since we first moved to Austin nearly 19 years ago.
