Conans Pizza North - Austin

This place won the Austin Chronicle award for Best Trip to the Seventies for good reason. Its multi-level wood paneled, many-boothed dining room is a cozy nostalgic place to have a couple pizzas and pitcher of beer.

Great art, music, and pizza. But the pizza is the best.

We’ve been eating pizza at Conan’s for over 20 years. We love the sauce and the dough of the pizza, it has almost a sweetness to it. We get the deep dish pepperoni and hamburger every time. It’s always consistent on taste! We usually pair it with a glass or two of wine, they have a newer wine supplier and it’s so smooth and easy to drink for wine by the glass.

Still as good as it was 15 years ago. I normally can't stand deep dish pizza but Conan's is just too good to pass up. If you haven't been here yet, go. It's an Austin staple.

I discovered this restaurant while on a trip and was excited to find a place where I could enjoy vegan pizza with cheese! They have a selection of deep dish vegan pizzas topped with Daiya cheese. It was clear that this is a popular spot among locals, as it was packed when I visited. In addition to pizza, they also serve salads, beer, and wine.
