Lin Asian Dim Sum - Austin

The soup dumplings are exceptional. The pineapple bag is wonderful, it tastes like your grandmother handmade a cake crust. The Chinese sausage is fantastic with a small chili sauce. The salt and pepper shrimp is to die. 10/10 would recommend to anyone who wants to enjoy an authentic Chinese food.

When it comes to Dim Sum, you can either mess it up completely or knock it out of the park. This location has amazing food, very good in flavors and great proportions. The dumplings were amazing, rich in flavor and soft; very enjoyable. The Hawaiian chicken was delicious with the peanut sauce, and accompanied with the Dan Dan noodles was a great combo. The only reason for a 4 star review is because of the beef potstickers; they lacked some flavor and so wasn?t a big fan of them. Either way, very pleased with our dinner!

Made dinner reservations here while visiting Austin as I was told the soup dumplings were amazing. And I must say they definitely didn't disappoint us. The dummy rice was also delicious. The rest of the food was average in our opinion. The service was mediocre and I felt the way the server handled how he wanted us to leave as there was another group waiting wasn't very professional. Especially as we waited on him to bring the bill. Soon after he bought it, he said they are waiting for us to leave as they need to give our table to another group. Coming from experience in service and hospitality industry, we felt the way it was conveyed wasn't polite. It wasn't a deal breaker but did leave bit of bitter feeling at the end. They do have both indoor and outdoor seating. If we were to go back, it would only be for the soup dumplings and dummy rice as they truly are delicious, the rest of the dishes were ok not great compared some other Asian restaurant we have been to. If you are in Austin, TX highly recommend you to try the soup dumplings they have to offer.

Such a fantastic little spot for tasty dim sum. The fact that it was a rainy winter day only added to the coziness of this place. Order those soup dumplings and all the cocktails were great. The little area surrounded by the wine bottles was a magical little getaway. Highly recommend for a small group of friends or family.

Lin Asian Bar Dim Sum is a real treat! They have a small patio, but it works for outdoor dining which is a definite plus in our current times. The staff were friendly, professional, and very helpful explaining the menu. The lunch menu features a more expansive selection of dim sum than the dinner menu, although the restaurant?s ?greatest hits? appear on both. The soup dumplings (xiaolongbao are a standout, as are the beef potstickers, egg rolls (that apricot dipping sauce! , and scallion pancake. The bathroom set up (gender neutral and completely accessible is great for families (and anyone really . We also shared the orange peel beef. Although the meat was very good, it wasn?t as spicy or flavorful a dish as we were expecting. Overall, this is a great spot for dumplings and other dim sum goodies. Recommend.
