Taco Bell - Austin

Nice place, food tasted better than regular drive thru. But who knows maybe I was biased because of the drinks.

When it comes to the Twisted Freezes, you simply choose a flavor and can add either Vodka, Rum, or Tequila for an additional cost. I opted for the Strawberry Kiwi Freeze with Vodka, and I found it really enjoyable. It's a nice touch that they feature local alcohol; for instance, they serve Tito's vodka. The crowd was mainly composed of millennials, which makes sense given its proximity to the University of Texas. As a fellow millennial, I can see why this spot would appeal to that demographic. If you’re in the area and looking for a quick bite, a drink to start your meal, or if you’re just a fan of standard Taco Bell (and don’t mind tipping the bartender), I definitely recommend giving this place a visit. I’m looking forward to trying the Blue Raspberry Freeze on my next trip!

Local beers, power outlets at every table, and fantastic service—what’s not to love? The food here is noticeably better than other Taco Bells in the area, and the service surpasses nearly all fast-food spots. I received outstanding service from Devin; he truly embodies what makes Taco Bell great. I’m excited about the expansion of the Cantina-style Taco Bell and will update my review when it opens.

This Taco Bell offers the unique option of enjoying alcoholic beverages. I tried the strawberry kiwi twisted freeze with rum, and it was really tasty. They have two TVs, so if there's a big game or if the University of Texas is playing, you can catch it here, though I have to say a sports bar would probably be a better choice for that. The drink prices were quite reasonable.
