The Halal Corner - Austin

The fried chickens were good. Wings however, was a disaster. Still i wouldnt rate so low, but : we ordered 4 spicy and 4 regular fried chickens. They gave us all regular. When showed asked them- they simply said it is the spicy ones. Where you can clearly see from all the pictures in reviews that the spicy ones are reddish color. And most importantly, all the chicken they gave us tasted all the same. No spice or nothing. They could’ve just admitted their mistake. Why do you have to assume people are stupid af? I wanted to drag this but the way the front desk lady said ‘ i don’t fry the chickens’ made me just leave. Hope y’all improve attitudes

The chicken nuggets were good. The chicken was slightly over cooked. The chicken sandwich was dry and the lettuce was stale, old, inedible and felt like eating a plastic. Lastly, the wings were very hard and over cooked.

I went there to buy some chicken wings yesterday.Food was ok. But I scanned their menu from the counter and order from the Cashier, She charged me $6 more than menu price. I told her why it’s different price and she said that I can’t do anything talk to owner.So scan the menu order from your phone and pay it. You will save a lot.

Update august 12 2023This place used to be very good and good halal atmosphere now the food is bland dry and untasteful, used to love the sandwiches and wings and halal polite environment but now also not appropriate tv channel shows and music playing and improper dress codes unfortunately this place changed a lot lately from the past few years May Allah guide and rectify the affairs of here and halal corner tooDecember 2022- Alhumdulillah we love this place we enjoy the great customer service and amazing delicious food ma sha Allah!!!!! Highly recommend this halal spot!!!
