Tropical Smoothie Cafe - Austin

I went in looking for a good smoothie, not only did I find a great smoothie but I also found amazing wraps and flatbreads as well. This place is a hidden gem! The staff are very friendly and accommodating, great for place lunch or anytime.

We live next door to this place and we were really hoping it was going to be a regular spot for us. Unfortunately, we won?t be going back. The smoothies were ok, maybe a 5/10 if I?m being generous, but the the owner/manager was so rude and unkind to her employees we won?t be supporting this business again. All of her employees were very young teens, one of whom was a girl she was clearly training. All I can say is that if that girl were my daughter, I would not want her working there one more minute. All of the kids there were clearly miserable and being verbally abused. Stop being condescending and rude to the people helping you make money. No one wants to come to a place where that?s happening.

Noticed this place opened up fairly recently and decided to check it out! The online ordering system is great. I got the chipotle chicken club flatbread and it was very tasty. Not too heavy, good balance of flavors. Felt fresh. I also tried a small jetty punch smoothie, very tasty and simple. Worth checking out for a quick lunch and healthier alternative.

I?ve been here once before, but wasn?t impressed as much as I was on the 12th of August before school starts! I brought my kiddos and the young man Zayn took our order and was just so polite even from walking first in. He made our smoothies and another coworker made our quesadillas. Both very polite, friendly and made our experience wonderful. Nice to see that and my kids have role models in older kids. Thank you, keep up the good work and good manners. Bravo young man.

Staff was really friendly and my order was ready very quickly. Location was clean and efficient. We need more Tropical Smoothie Cafe locations in Austin.
