After a boat ride on the canals of Aveiro, we were led to a charming tapas restaurant for lunch. We were greeted at the door as if we were already friends. Our server brought us the usual olives and bread then arrived with a selection of cheeses and sausages that were out of this world. Not wanting our lunch to end, we added an order of cuttlefish to the mix. It was our first taste of this dish but won't be our last. Add to that a nice red wine and a pleasant conversation about food and traveling. If this restaurant were in our city, it would be a favorite spot for lunch!
