La Darsena - Avilés

One of the best places to eat in Aviles. .A great 'menu of the day ' for 12 euros, which gives one the idea of what 'a la cart ' would be...Really good quality and perfect servings.. One could be in as we did or out but either way not to be missed! Very closed to the Niemeyer... Recommended to book in advance since it is popular.

We went as a group of 11 non Spanish speakers. The staff made no fuss of our request to change from outside to inside at no notice and moved everything. The friendly service continued with translations and help with dietary requirements. The food was excellent across the board. Between us we had salads, fish, steaks, Vegetarian options and all were great. Wine was fairly priced and a good selection. All in would highly recommend.

Few minutes walk from the Centro Niemeyer/dock area La Darsena has a relaxed bar area and small restaurant serving quality typical Spanish/Asturian food and wine. It was all served beautifully and very tasty. Good price, especially for the menu del dia.

Comida deliciosa, ingredientes de mariscos frescos y sabrosos. Porciones abundantes. Excelente servicio. Probamos arroz caldoso con bogavante, entrecot y cachopo; todos ellos merecen 5 estrellas.

Fuimos a comer un miércoles y probamos el menú, que estaba delicioso y bien presentado. Volveremos otro día.
