Booked and paid in advance for two stays, one night on our way down to the south west of France and the other was meant to be on the way back. The room was ok but the food served to us in the restaurant was inedible, we always use campaniles mainly because the food is always good and the staff very pleasant. Needless to say after we complained (politely I have to say) that the meat on my wife's plate was cold and mine was too grisly to eat, the waitress just laughed at my wife. We walked out in disgust. We have booked our return stop over elsewhere, so I have paid in advance for this Campanile and we were so upset we cannot go back ever again. Every Campanile we have stayed at has a proper menu, when we asked to see the menu they simply pointed at a blackboard with a few items. There were only 3 cars parked in the car park and it's peak season so I guess we should have realised why it was empty. I sincerely hope the the owners of Campanile realise what this is doing to their great brand

Great nights stay and very comfortable and easy to use. Also very good price for a room (lightly expensive for breakfast IMO). Showers were good, rooms were clean and kettle provided.

Great place to stop. Really friendly staff, room size excellent. Spacious bathroom. Restaurant served a fantastic meal, Steak was so delicate and tasty. Only on the bottom was no air conditioning, but we took our fan that helped. Will definitely visit again.
