The Stratford Pub - Avondale Estates

A hidden Avondale gem. This place embodies the complete pub experience. The food and drinks here are great. The fish and chips is ????????????. Crispy beer battered cod served with a great tasting tartar sauce and seasoned fries...yes please! Skip over Captain's D's and come here. Ask for Aimee. She's just awesome.

Great place. Fits perfectly well in the Avondale atmosphere. Friendly staff 90% of the time we've been there. Loved the cauliflower appetizers. Burgers and fries are fine even though it may not be the best place for a fully vegetarian meal option. Simple but good cocktail selection. Just a good time overall.

The best Reuben sandwich we have had and we eat a lot of them!!!! Marbled rye bread lots of meat and sauerkraut. Bread was toasted and not soggy. Great atmosphere. Think we had a new waiter that was still learning so service was not up to par but would highly recommend this place!!!!

Loved the entire experience! We waited to be seated for maybe a minute and were greeted warmly! We asked to sit outside and we were told to pick a table. Tobias was our server and he did a wonderful job! We're planning on asking for him next time. ???? I think the wings were my favorite! Also they do not serve brussel sprouts.. at least not anymore.
