Best BLT in Pitt County. Always friendly staff. The cook/waitress who made our food tonight is an amazing cook and great at multitasking. Edward's is lucky to have her!

Edwards Pharmacy is a locally-owned establishment that features a charming old-fashioned counter grill, serving up meals infused with genuine southern hospitality. It’s definitely a hidden gem, and you won’t discover it unless you’re a local or someone familiar with the area brings you along. I visited this spot on a Saturday morning for breakfast. The counter is adorned with vintage PepsiCo memorabilia, including a standout old Mt. Dew sign from the past. I ordered a Dew to drink and opted for a fried egg sandwich with a sausage patty and cheese, accompanied by some hash browns. It was absolutely delicious! The grill staff was wonderful, engaging us in conversation throughout our meal. If I ever find myself in Ayden, NC again, I will certainly stop by for a bite to eat!

The pharmacists at this location are extremely helpful. They have provided me with better guidance on my medications than my own doctor! They are patient and take the time to explain how my medications affect my health. And I have to mention, the grill is fantastic—just don't let my doctor know, haha!

I went to Ayden as a young boy, and back then, Edwards (which was downtown) was the place to be. I always enjoyed visiting my aunt and uncle, but the highlight for me was always Edwards. I visited recently, and it’s just as fantastic as I remember. Please don’t ever change!
