Es ist verraucht, keiner spricht mit dem Gast, das Essen dauert und dauert. Dafür ist die Auswahl gering. Das Besteck kommt erst nach dem Essen auf den Tisch. Das Essen ist unterdurchschnittlich. Ein Gulasch ist kommt quasi in Form einer Suppe....naja....

Service ist Ausbaufähig , meine Frau bestellte einen Kaiserschmarrn. Da der Erste verbrannt war , was ja auch passieren kann , könnte man den Gast doch mitteilen es dauert etwas länger. Meine sogenannte Bouillabaisse was keine war , habe ich un probiert zurück geben lassen. Das reine Öl klebte an der kleinen Schüssel. Der Schmarren war gut. Man kann zwar gut sitzen , auf ein Glas Bier oder Wein. Die Lage ist super

In my opinion the prices here are crazy, all around Hallstatt. What this cafe has against others is sheltered seating on the lake front. Most of the other cafes are back away from the lake, which if you are only coming for a day trip... isn’t preferable as you want to see the backdrop

We had soup and cheese pasta for lunch. Service was ok and food arrived quickly. Salad was limp and did it look fresh. He served never came back to ask about our meal. Nice location right by the water. I don’t understand why customers are...charged to use they washrooms. I would not recommend as there are other options.

It was too early for dinner, so we stopped for beer. The cafe has a pretty nice lakeview from the terrace, well, inside table where we sat also got the view. We surely enjoyed our lemon flavored light beer and the swans swimming around. When swimming by, the swans looked up and checked out whether we have food for them or not, the waiters/ waitress they looked busy, not looking at you at all after he took our order. My husband had to go to the counter to get a beer. We didn't order any food, no comment.
