Cafe beside one of the town squares. Small tables and chairs. Adequate place for rest, drink or snack.

We had a few pizzas and the Hallstadt beer. The pizzas were ok nothing great (we ate it all). If you come from the US you expect good pizza so this was really more like frozen pizza it did the job. It was...a little pricey (12.8 euros a pizza about $15) but this place is in the middle of the town square (which is really pretty) in a tourist town. They have a few outside tables with a really nice view. The Hallstatt beer was really awesome. i enjoyed that more than the food.

We considered a ham pizza (on a tour through these beautiful parts of Austria) service was very friendly and gave us time to enjoy our lunch and still back to explore this Storybook city.

Rude and drunk owner or waiter. At 4pm ! We walked out. Left us with a bad impression after seeing the lovely town.

Very friendly hostel on the marketplace. Diavolo Pizza is excellent and the gulasch suppe to die. The Hallstatt beer is excellent. This place is highly recommended.
