Schreinerei Pfeiffer - Bad Homburg

We were in a big group and sat outside, the service was still good and the atmosphere great. It's located centrally and in walking distance of many hotels. A lot of us had the steak which was very tasty.I will be coming back when in town

Great place, fantastic atmosphere, i really dig the old woodshop. Really friendly service. Great beers, i really like the local Bad Homburg Graf Zeppelin sligthly cloudy/unfiltered helles. Food does the trick. Seemed like a local hangout; on a Monday night place was pretty crowded, 95% males, all a bit seasoned. I'll be back

A former workshop turned into a restaurant. Welcoming staff. Good traditional German food. I tried the Hessenburger - a good cheeseburger with local Handkäse.

I wanted to give this restaurant five stars, because the Schreiner Cheese Burger and Fries that I had were really delicious. But I went with four other people. Three of them were not excited about their meals. The beef steak was ordered medium and came quite rare, as well as not very tender. The pork schnitzel was under seasoned, as well as not very tender. But the burgers were really very good. I just cant bring myself to give it only three stars because a good burger can be hard to find.

If you like hessisches Food than this is the restaurant to go. The food is good and the price is right. Especially the Appelwein is perfect.
