The waterfall is really beautiful. The only downside is that the road is really narrow to reach there by vehicle. Two vehicles can barely pass. We had a huge rain fall while coming down and it was a nightmare to drive downhill. Leeches are there also in wet conditions. There is a small ticket counter where you can buy ticket to enter the small trail to waterfall. Around 10mins walk through pine trees from ticket counter to the waterfall. Worth the effort to go there and relax. Not recommended to visit on a rainy day.
This is the highest waterfall in Sri Lanka. It is about 780 feet. Located near Kalupahana junction. It is a very beautiful and attractive place. You can bath and swim. But do it very carefully. Ticket price is Rs.50 for local adults and Rs.20 for local children. We reached this place by car. So you can reach this place with any vehicle. Come and visit this place. Do not litter anywhere.
