Entering the Del Ponte restaurant (also a hotel) is like taking a step back in time: the owner still keeps it (with love) as her family has kept it since the end of the 19th century. It is a place that could tell many stories and I believe that some of these can be perceived while tasting some dishes of their excellent cuisine, or even stopping for an aperitif, sitting in the shade of the pergola. In my opinion it is a magical place, where even two perfect strangers could meet and fall in love; I would therefore also recommend it for romantic dinners. Needless to say, at this point, I had a great time. Francesca (the owner) is a truly kind and nice person, one of those golden people who enter your heart. I never wanted to leave again, I would have remained in that magic forever.
